    Eric is a first year PhD student whose research and teaching interests focus on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature, especially that of the Romantic era. Some of his research interests are informed by developments in gender and trauma studies, such as the treatment of trauma and mental health in literature and the relationships between misogyny, ideals of masculinity, and conceptions of the mind.
