    Noelle is an MA in English student whose research interests focus on nineteenth-century British literature and culture, with an emphasis on identity and performance. She is also interested in researching how nineteenth-century ideologies are received and reconstructed in contemporary forms of media and popular culture, such as film and musical theatre.
