Ariane is an MA student who is fascinated by the current, unique environment in which cinematic narratives are conceived. Her research interests are primarily centered around pop culture, particularly the effects that participatory culture and social media have on the consumerism and development of television narrative. She hopes that studying these lines of research will help to provide a more comprehensive view on the social contexts surrounding the creation of contemporary works. Other interests include cross-medium storytelling and the structural forms of enemies-to-lovers narratives.
