Thinking about a career in publishing or editing?  Wondering how your ETS major might help you get there?

Don’t miss a chance to meet with Bloomsbury USA editor Lea Beresford at the English Department’s Career Workshop:

Monday, February 23

5:30 pm

Hall of Languages 500

Lea Beresford was an English and psychology major at Cornell and attended the Columbia Publishing Course.  She worked at the Irene Skolnick Literary Agency and then joined the editorial team at Random House Publishing Group. After five years there, she sought adventure in San Francisco and worked for SheWrites.com and as a freelance editor.  She joined Bloomsbury in 2011 upon her return to New York.

Lea will discuss what it’s like to be an editor at a publishing house, and participate in a Q&A with attending students.
