"Jack the Ripper and His Legacy"

Walk in the footsteps of Jack the Ripper, the notorious serial killer who terrorized the residents of London’s Whitechapel district in 1888. Through readings, numerous site visits, and tours we will explore the geography of the murders themselves and the social, cultural, and economic contexts in which they occurred.
