Sarah Barkin's PhD oral examination for her dissertation, “The Civil Contract of Documentary: Israel, Palestine, and the Political Aesthetics of Intersubjective Witnessing, 2000-2017,” will take place on Thursday, April 6, at 9:30am in Tolley 304. Barkin's Advisor is Roger Hallas, and her committee members include Carol Fadda-Conrey, Christopher Hanson, Steven Cohan, and Dorit Naaman (Queen’s University). Robin Riley (Women's and Gender Studies) will chair the examination. All faculty members and graduate students are encouraged and welcome to attend. This event is open to the university and public community.
