Congratulations to our Dr. Stephanie Shirilan, Associate Professor (pictured), who was awarded the 2016 CNY Book Award for Non-Fiction for her monograph Robert Burton and the Transformative Power of Melancholy. The non-fiction category was judged by author Steven Huff of Rochester, New York. We're proud to see her work recognized in this way!

Congratulations are also in order to our MFA alumnus Michael Jennings (G'81), who received the 2016 CNY Book Award for Poetry for his book Crossings: A Record of Travel! The poetry category was judged by poet Michael McFee of Durham, North Carolina.
