In addition to the Raymond Carver reading series, which brings in poets and fiction writers internationally,
and the Graduate Writers Reading Series, where the graduate students in the creative writing program read from
their work, a host of special readings generally take place in which recent visitors included Frank Conroy, Joyce
Carol Oates, and Bill Knott.
