Salt Hill

Salt Hill is a nationally distributed literary journal publishing outstanding new fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction and art. Now over 10 years old, the magazine is edited and published by students affiliated with the Creative Writing Program at Syracuse University. Students who volunteer to work on Salt Hill gain valuable experience in running a literary magazine. Certain duties associated with Salt Hill are eligible for elective credits. The journal is funded in part by College of Arts & Sciences and the Graduate Student Organization of Syracuse University.

Previous contributors have included Denise Duhamel, Edie Fake, Mary Gaitskill, Terrance Hayes, H.L. Hix, Etgar Keret, Phil LaMarche, Dorianne Laux, Patrick Lawler, Maurice Manning, Eugene Marten, K. Silem Mohammad, Patricia Smith, Lynne Tillman, and Joe Wenderoth, among many others.
